Ishay Rabi

Ishay's primary area of research is game theory and, more specifically, contest theory. In his master's thesis, "Optimal Seeding in Interdependent Contests,” he examined the best way for a contest designer to seed participants in parallel contests in order to attain maximum/minimum effort.

Ishay won a grant from Ben-Gurion University for interdisciplinary studies while pursuing his master's degree, which he completed cum laude.

Having earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics from the Open University of Israel and a master's degree in Economics from Ben-Gurion University, Ishay is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Economics on “Strategic Analysis of Parallel Contests.”
